"MIXing It Up" is an article I wrote about a new inventor's lab and creative space called the MIX lab published in The Mason Spirit
"Pioneering Next-Gen Classroom Technologies" is about an enterprising Mason game design professor who has cofounded a startup company which utilizes algorithms to maintain an optimized online classroom setting.
In the summer of 2016, I was thrilled to be given the opportunity to work as the communications intern of the American Humanist Association. A wonderful group of people who work hard to support human rights, tolerance, and rational thinking. While there, I wrote a number of pieces for their digital publication TheHumanist.com (and still do from time to time).
"Mining the Moon: Will Lunar Resource Competition Spark Future Wars" is a thought experiment probing the possible outcomes of lawless resource extraction of the moon and encourages thinking forward towards establishing some international regulations.
"Discovering Life's Origins and the Mystery of Homochirality" explains how a discovery of complex homochiral molecules at the Milky Way's center could help biologists better understand how life on earth formed.
"Rethinking the Ingredients for Human Life" explains how new research might open the door to same-sex couples (or even individuals) being able to produce their very own offspring with a little help from science.
